How Oklahoma City Spray Foam Insulation Works

Oklahoma City Spray Foam Insulation insulates and air seals homes, garages, shops and metal buildings across the Oklahoma City metro, from Edmond and Guthrie in the north to Norman, Noble and Blanchard in the south, and from El Reno and Yukon in the west to Choctaw and Harrah in the east. We spray open-cell and closed-cell foam, blow in fiberglass and cellulose, insulate walls in new and existing houses, and pull out old insulation that has been soaked, crushed or fouled.

Every job starts with a visit. In this part of the country the attic is usually where the trouble lives: ductwork and air handlers sit up there in heat that can run far past the outdoor temperature on a July afternoon, and the ceiling below leaks conditioned air through every light box, vent boot and top plate. We go up, measure what insulation is already in place, look at how the ducts are run and sealed, and note anything that should be fixed before it gets buried, such as roof leaks, hail damage, rodent nests or wiring that is not right.

Then we tell you what we would do and why. Spray foam is a strong tool, but it is not the cheapest answer for every surface. On a wide, open attic floor, sealing the gaps and then blowing loose fill to depth often gives you more for the money. On a roof deck, a metal building or a wall cavity in new construction, foam is often the better fit. When two approaches would both work, the quote shows both so you can choose.

How we work

  • Look first. We measure and inspect before we price anything.
  • Write it down. Each area on the quote gets its own material, thickness, target R-value and price.
  • Seal, then insulate. Air leaks get closed before new insulation covers them.
  • Respect the house. Floors and belongings get covered, work areas get closed off, and we clean up at the end.
  • Plan around the weather. Summer attic heat and storm season both affect scheduling, and we set dates with that in mind.
  • No surprises. Work starts only after you approve the written quote, and any change is agreed in writing first.

Who calls us

Homeowners with an upstairs that will not cool down in August, or a bedroom over the garage that is always the coldest room in January. Buyers whose inspection found thin or damaged attic insulation. People building a new house or a barndominium who want the walls and roof deck foamed before drywall. Owners of shops, garages and metal buildings that sweat, drip or bake. Families who had roof damage after a storm and need the wet insulation out and new insulation in.
